What is Long-Term Care?

Posted on April 25, 2017 · Posted in Grand Oaks

Long-term care is an essential service for many seniors. This type of care is provided to someone for an extended period of time, often to assist with chronic illness, disability, or old age. Long-term care can include any medical or non-medical services and daily tasks that an individual may require assistance with.

Oftentimes, long-term care involves skilled nursing services, which can be provided by the Visiting Nurse Association of Florida in the comfort of home or in your Grand Oaks suite. Long-term care with VNA of Florida gives you or your loved one the ability to remain at home or at Grand Oaks for as long as possible.
