Also a special thanks to attorney Michael McNicholas, a real straight shooter, who donated his winnings from the 50/50 back to the Visiting Nurse Foundation.

Over the past 21 years the Visiting Nurse Foundation has provided more than $1.5 million in lifesaving healthcare to the indigent.

The foundation covers medicine costs for people struggling financially, providing equipment to severely disabled children at Challenger School in Stuart, building wheelchair ramps in the homes of indigent and disabled patients and fueling the Florence Nightingale Express, our mobile clinic that provides free lifesaving exams and treatments to needy and homeless individuals and families.

With luxury outdoors raffle items, a savory steak lunch and sporting-clay shooting at the upscale Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee, the VNA Charity Sporting Clay Shoot proved a can’t-miss event.
